Polaroid Z340 camera uses Polaroid ZINK Media 3 x 4 Photo Paper which is a new high quality product. One of the common mistakes make by Polaroid fans is trying to use this new instant film for old Polaroid instant camera models like Polaroid 600 series. You CAN NOT use Zink Media 3 x 4 Photo Paper for any other camera except Polaroid 340. At least not for old cameras. Only camera use this 3x4 film in market is Z340 and nothing else. Unlike old Polaroid instant film these are border-less photo prints, Also with new Zink technology prints dry right away so you csn touch those immediately. Polaroid Z340 Camera

Polaroid Z340 camera is a digital instant camera which print 3x4 size photos prints. This is one of the three instant digital cameras Polaroid has released so far. Also it's probably the best instant camera among those three cameras. It's not exactly a cheap Polaroid camera but comparing with other digital instant camera z340 has some really good features and also only it can print 3x4 format photos.

It uses Polaroid 3x4 Zink photo paper. Cost per photo print is around $.65 which is pretty much same as other mini film and lot cheaper than old Polaroid instant film. Also These new Zero Ink (Zink) technology gives you 100% better quality film than those old instant film like Polaroid 600 film.

You can use a SDHC memory card to save all images you shoot and then You can print only select photos after checking those. This way you will able to save prints. With Analog instant cameras like old Polaroid cameras and also Fujifilm Instax cameras you can't choose which photo to print. Camera would automatically print the photo as soon as you take it. Downside is you might waste your photo paper by printing bad photos. But With this z340 camera you can check all your photos before printing.

This Instant camera cost you around $250 at Amazon with free shipping. So it's not exactly a cheap instant camera but it's a good camera for these times since you can move photos to your phone or computer and then post in social media sites.

Fathers day Photo Borders For Z340E Camera

This is something cool for those who use Polaroid Z340E Instant digital camera. Polaroid offers some cool photo borders for this camera. There are some photo frames for Fathers day, Mothers day and Graduation day photos. Frames are very colorful and cool looking. This is how you add those to your camera,

First you need to download those images from the Polaroid web site   >> Here

• There must be both a 1216 x 912 and a 320 x 240 bitmap graphic (.bmp) for each customized border.


• The transparent area (where the picture will show though) should be set to RGB (254,254,254).


• The large pictures should be named "TMP_L1. BMP" and "TMP_L2. BMP" while the small pictures should be named "TMP_S1.BMP" and "TMP_S2.BMP".


• Store the borders to a folder named "Border" at the root directory of the memory card.


• There must be at least one picture stored on the memory card in the cameras file structure.


• Be sure the camera is turned off.


• Insert the memory card with the borders into the camera and turn the camera on


•  Press the Print button to launch Print Mode.


• Use the left and right arrow keys to scroll and select an image to add the border to.


• Press the MENU button to launch the Print Menu.


• Select Add Border. Only two custom borders can be used at a time.


• our borders will be loaded to the camera and will be found by using the or keys to scroll through the borders.
